Allen Mitchell

The relatives and friends of Mr. Allen Mitchell invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved one on Saturday, September 7, 2013, 11:00 AM at New Bethlehem Baptist Church 1945 Liberia Rd. Wadmalaw Island, SC. Interment: Church Cemetery (Maybank Hwy).

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Benna Z. Mitchell; his children, Mr. Clifford Johnson, Mr. Allen Mitchell, Jr. (Tammy), and Ms. Wendy Brown; his grandchildren, Allen, Mrs. Dominique Hart (Ronald), Tynika, and Monyece,; his great-grandchildren, NyAila and Aaron; his siblings, Mr. Ben Mitchell (Mildred), Ms. Margaret Mitchell, Mr. McArthur Brown (Hattie), Mr. Joe Cyrus Brown (Earnestine), Mr. Theodore Brown (Sarah), Mr. Sonny Brown (Shirley); his sister-in-law, Mrs. Benita Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Mitchell was an author, community activist, a Logistic Manager for the U.S. Government and the past President of the NAACP in Roslyn, PA.

Viewing for Mr. Mitchell will be on Saturday, September 7, 2013 10:00AM-until the time of service. There will not be a family hour.
