Althea (Big Abby) Lennen

The family of Mrs. Althea B. Lennen (Big Abby) announces her celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 11:00 AM at Morris Brown AME Church 13 Morris St. Charleston, SC. Interment: Monrovia Cemetery.

Mrs. Lennen was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William Lennen, Sr; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Graham; her sons, Mr. Jerome Singleton, Mr. Lymel Singleton, and Mr. William Lennen, Jr. Mrs. Lennen is survived by her children, Ms. Andrea Gourdine, Mr. Karl Singleton, Mrs. Doris White (Leroy), Ms. Thelma Gaillard, Mrs. Bernadette Nelson (Charles), Ms. Althea Seabrook (Ronald), Ms. Vicky Lennen, Mr. Ervin Gourdine, and Ms. Lakavia Lennen; her sisters, Ms. Millie Martin, Ms. Thelma Brown, Ms. Miriam Gourdine and Ms. Louise Gourdine; her brother-in-law, Mr. Lonnie Singleton; her sister-in-law, Ms. Izetta Smalls; her daughter-in-law, Ms. Josephine Singleton; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Viewing for Mrs. Lennen will be on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at Morris Brown AME Church. The family will be receiving friends from 7:00-8:00PM.
