A comfort and a sure hope is found in God's Word, the Bible. Notice 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4. Jesus promises that one day he is going to bring back to life all those who have died --John 5:28, 29. Death is not only an ""enemy"" to those of us who have lost dear loved one in death, but also an enemy to God--1 Corinthians 15:26. The Bible tells us that one day God is going to remove of death that mankind has experienced for thousands of years --Revelation 20:12-13

I have fond memories of Bernard as we were growing up as well as through the years as family.
His smile and swag would light up a room.

Offering sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that God does not cause tragedies and suffering. (James 1:13) but He promises very soon to bring an end to them (Rev. 21:4,5) Continue to exercise faith in the wonderful hope our Heavenly Father has set before us all. (Acts 24:15; Ps. 37:29)
