Betty Jean Polite

“Thou shall lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.”  The family of Mrs. Betty Jean Polite announces her passing on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.  Residence: 1020 Little John Drive Charleston, SC.

Mrs. Polite is the wife of the late Mr. Earl Polite; the mother of Mrs. Cleonia M. Royal (Darrell, Sr.), Mrs. Helen E. Garris (Anthony Sr.), Mr. James Washington, Jr. (Vivian), Mr. Corey J. Washington, Sr. (Andrea), Ms. Annette Crosland, and the late Ms. Wanda Chisolm; the daughter of the late Mr. Sam Crosland and Ms. Nellie Jenkins; the sister of the late Ms. Anna Crosland.

Mrs. Polite was 74 years old.

The family of Mrs. Betty Jean Polite announces her celebration of life service which will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 12:00 Noon at Memorial Baptist Church 153 Alexander St. Charleston, SC.  Interment: Monrovia Cemetery.

Viewing for Mrs. Polite will be on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Memorial Baptist Church.  The family will be receiving friends from 7:00-8:00pm.
