Mrs. Alston is survived by her devoted husband, Mr. James Alston, Sr.; her children, Mrs. Angela Young (Curtis), Mrs. Portia Daise (Randy), Mrs. Carolyn Alston-Falco (Thomas), Mr. James Alston, Jr., Mr. Jermaine Alston (Toya), and Mrs. Gina Greenlee (Gary); her brothers, Mr. Benjamin Holmes and Mr. Winston Holmes.

Viewing for Mrs. Alston will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC and from 6:00-8:00 PM at New Holmes Street Baptist Church 7 Killians Street Charleston, SC. The family will be receiving friends from 7:00-8:00 PM.
