  The family of Ms. Emma W. Grant, announce her passing on Monday, September 25, 2017.

Ms. Grant is the mother of Ms. Darlene W. Williams, Mrs. Juanita P. Simmons (Travis), and the late Mr. Jake D. Williams, Mr. Carl R. Williams, and Mr. Herman A. Williams; she is the daughter of the late Ms. Floretta Estelle Poinsette and Mr. Porter Middleton, Sr.; the sister of Ms. Mary France Brown, Mr. Gilbert L. Poinsette, and Ms. Floretta Campbell.

 Ms. Grant was a retired employee of the Post and Courier.
