Mr. McKnight was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Ernest R. McKnight, Sr.

Mr. McKnight is survived by his children, Ms. Minda M. Bell, Ms. April L. Hugee, Mr. Jarrod Nelson (Eleanor), Ms. Nicole C. Jenkins, and Mr. Terrell Nelson (Tiffany); his mother, Mrs. Katherine S. McKnight; his siblings, Ms. Loretta McKnight, Ms. Stiney M. Mears, and Ms. Shirley M. Stepney; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. McKnight will be on SUNDAY, February 15, 2015 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the ILA Hall 1142 Morrison Drive Charleston, SC. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00PM-7:00PM.
