So sorry for your loss. Hope that this scripture helps in this time of sorrow.
Rev. 21, 3:4
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

My heart aches for the Williams family to lose in death your precious loved one Herman. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you beautiful scripture where our heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Psalm 34:18 Jehovah promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; ""And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: ""And no resident will say ""I am sick,"" ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises here on earth, including the resurrection.
None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection.
Our savior, Jesus, said: John 6: 40; ""For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day"".
Jesus also soid: John 5: 28; ""Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...""
John 11:23-25; ""Jesus said to her: ""I am the resurrection and the life."" The one who exercises faith in me, even tho he dies, will come to life.""
Acts 24:15 enlightens us: ""And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.""
I pray that Jesus's promise to reunite us with our loved ones on resurrection day will carry you through the difficult days ahead and gradually replace your tears of grief with tears of joy as you reflect on your precious memories of happier times with Herman. For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you.
I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled ""Keep Your Eyes on the Prize"" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO
The family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.

I hope you draw great comfort from the following scriptures. We know when one losses a loved one it is only natural to ask, ""Will they live again""? The Bible writer, Job asked the same question please read, Job 14:14-15. The scriptures also assures us that God is eager to resurrect your loved one, Herman who is now sleeping in the grave. Another scripture, 1 Corinthians 15:26 shows that God views death as an enemy. My condolences to the Williams family and friends.
