Entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 20, 2016; Mr. Howard Jenkins “Joey Dee”, “Dr. J”. Residence: 1869 Taborwood Circle Charleston SC 29405.

Mr. Jenkins is the husband of Mrs. Veronica Jenkins; the father of Ms. Maria Jenkins Baxter; the son of the late Thomas and Inez Jenkins; the brother of Ms. Ernestine Terry, Mr. Webster Jenkins and Mr. Freddie Jenkins; the grandfather of Faith Ransom.  Mr. Jenkins was 71 years old.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Howard Jenkins “Joey Dee” “Dr. J” invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved one on Saturday, June 25, 2016 11:00 PM at Bethany Baptist Church 790 Meeting St. Charleston, SC.  Interment: Monrovia Cemetery

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Mrs. Veronica Jenkins; his daughter, Ms. Maria Jenkins Baxter, his siblings, Ms. Ernestine Terry, Mr. Webster Jenkins (Sarah) and Mr. Freddie Jenkins; his granddaughter, Faith Randsom; and a host other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Jenkins will be on Friday, June 24, 2016 4:00PM- 7:00PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC.  There will not be a family hour.
