The family of Mr. James Alston, Sr. invite you to attend his celebration of life services on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 11:00 am @ Emmanuel Baptist Church 1440 Folly Road, James Island, SC.  Interment: Monrovia Cemetery

Mr. Alston was preceded in death by his wife; Carolyn V. Holmes Alston, his parents; Leroy Beasley, Sr. and Catherine Bosty, his siblings; Lucenia(William) Beasley-Jones, Isaiah(Julia)Green, Charles Beasley, Sr., Leroy Morgan, Lottie Mae Martin, and Elizabeth Fields, and his mother-in-law, Carrie B. Holmes. He is survived by his children; Angela(Curtis)Young, Veronica(Gary)Greenlee, Portia(Charles)Shiver, Carolyn(Thomas)Alston-Falco, James Alston, Jr., Jermaine(Toya)Alston and Ricky(Carolyn)Grant, his siblings; Juanita Shell, Ethel Beasley, Julia(Charlie)Pryor, William Beasley, Leroy(Collette)Beasley, Jr., Eugene(Faith)White, Sr., mother-in-law Lue Reather Beasley, his sister-in-law; Cathy Morgan, a host of other relatives and friends

Dickerson Memorial Chapel) and on Monday Dec. 4, 2023, from 10:00am until time of service @ Emmanuel Baptist Church.
