James Farmer, Jr.

It is with sadness we announce the transition of James Farmer, Jr. who departed this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Residence: 7564 Brandywine Rd. N. Charleston SC 29420.

Mr. Farmer is husband of Mrs. May Francis Farmer; the father of Mr. Derrick Farmer, Mr. James Murray, Mr. Gerald Murray, and Ms. Shanika Farmer; the son of the late Mr. Eddie Singleton and Mrs. Lue Minnie Singleton; the brother of Ms. Lang McMillian, Mr. Harold Lee Singleton, Ms. Judy Singleton, Mr. Edward Singleton.

Mr. Farmer was 74 years old and a retiree from law enforcement and the military.

The relatives and friends of Deacon James Farmer, Jr. invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved one on MONDAY, January 16, 2017 11:00AM at Eastside Baptist Charleston 584 Meeting Street Charleston, SC. Internment: Live Oak Memorial Gardens

Viewing for Deacon Farmer will be on SUNDAY, January 15, 2017 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC.  There will not be a family hour.
