“When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.”  The family of Mr John Cleary Cheatham announces his celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday, July 1 , 2017 12:00AM at Ebenezer  AME  Church 44Nassau  Street Charleston , SC.  Interment: Johnson Cemetery North Charleston  SC

Mr. Cheatham  is survived by his loving spouse Mrs. Minnie E. Cheatham;, children Mr. Reginald Simmons (Kashauna), Ms. Katrina Simmons, Mr. Dondre Cheatham (Tamara),Ms. Lekia Cheatham –Bonner , Mr. Daryll  Richards ,Mr.  John Cheatham ,Jr., Mr. Kevin Cheatham (Luticia) and Mr. William Cheatham; siblings Mrs. Cynthia Booker (Aaron) Mr. Basil Cheatham, Ms. Regina Young,  Mr. Anthony Cheatham , Mr. Lionel Cheatham (Cynthia), Mrs. Berna Vandergraff (Thomas); sister-in-law Ms. Anna D. Norton and Ms. Frances Norton, grandchildren ,great-grand children nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Cheatham was preceeded in death by his parents Mr. Charles Cheatham and Mrs. Janet Cheatham

Viewing for Mr. Cheatham  will be on Friday , June 30 , 2017 at Dickerson Mortuary from 3:00PM-5:00PM and the church from 6:00PM-8:00 family will be receiving friends from 7:00-8:00
