Dickerson Mortuary announces the passing of Mrs. Katherine Brown, 81, who transitioned on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The family of Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Brown invite you attend her celebration of life services on Friday, April 5, 2024 11:00AM at Wallingford Presbyterian Church 705 King Steet Charleston, SC 29403. Interment: Live Oak Memorial Garden 3093 Ashley River Rd. Charleston, SC.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Julius Brown, her parents, Mr. Leroy and Mrs. Rosalee White, Sr.; her sister, Mrs. Louise Jacques and her brother Mr. Leroy White, Jr.  She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Sharon Brown-Wilkinson and her son-in-love, Mr. Rudy Wilkinson; her siblings, Ms. Rebecca Murray of New York, NY,  Mrs. Annabell Major-Frasier (Vincent) of Charleston, SC, Mr. Thomas (Marcell) of Columbia, SC, Mr. Robert White (Patricia) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mr. Matthew White (Arnetta) of San Antonio, TX;  SC, her sister-in-law, Ms. Doris White of Charleston, SC, Ms. Sally Brown of New York, NY; her brother-in-law, Mr. Henry Brown (Carol) of Burlington, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.  Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Burke High School Class of 1961.
Viewing for Mrs. Brown will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00-7:00PM.  Viewing will also be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 10:00AM- Until the time of service. THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING AT THE END OF THE SERVICES.
