Kenneth was such a young boy when I met with him. It was at his house having fish and rice on a Friday evening with his big brother William Peter Nelson, Jr. as we spent the weekend with him from Allen University. His parents became my parents so he became my little brother. God bless your soul and the family as they will continue to live through memories and love for you. R.I.P.

My condolences to the Nelson family during this difficult time. Jimmy was a very kind and nice person, and I will always remember him as Junior, Bootsie, Richard and Ronnies baby brother. As long ago neighbors I witnessed Jimmys evolution from little boy to young man. I will never forget that smiling face. May his soul Rest In Peace.

Kenneth ""Pops"" Nelson was such quiet humble soul. When he officially joined our family in August 2008 that evening over a glass of champagne, Keisha, Iona and I welcomed him and thanked him for making mom so happy. We asked for permission to give him a nickname, one he would grow to love and just like that, he became ""Pops"" to my sisters and I and ""Poppa"" to our children. Thank you for helping with our kids, being a rock for our mom and never complaining! We thank the Lord for lending us your sweet, patient spirit, we will miss you

Kenneth Jerome Nelson AKA Jimmy was my very 1st childhood friend. He was born 3 month after I did and we grew up togather, shared the same classes in school.
