Leroy “Bird” Junious

Dickerson Mortuary, LLC., announces the passing of Mr. Leroy “Bird” Junious, 65, who transitioned on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

The family invite you to attend his celebration of life service on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Clarendon Community Resource Center, 1154 4th St, Summerton, SC. Interment: Brown Cemetery.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents Alex “Sonny” Junious and Alice Green Junious; a daughter, Erica James, two sisters, Camille Junious and Rebecca J. Belle; and a brother, Elder Thomas Lee Junious.He leaves to cherish and embrace her memory, three brothers, Johnnie Junious of the home, Elliott (Carolyn) Junious of Sumter, SC and Nathaniel (Minister Denise) Junious of Summerville, SC. A sister-in-law, Ruth P. Junious. One uncle, Frank Junious of Columbia, SC, six aunts, Lille Mae Felder, Elenora Nelson, Emma Junious and Josephine Junious of Summerton, SC, Margaret Junious of Columbia, SC and Annie Sue Junious of Summerville, SC. Special cousins, Bessie Green, James (Janice) Briggs and Robert Lee (Susan) Junious and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
