I was deeply sadden by the news. Even though it's been four months, I just heard. I was reaching out sending birthday cards, texting, calling no response. I will always remember going to your house in Charleston. SIP, my friend.

It is such sad news to learn of Lorenzos (Reeses) passing. Truly devastating. Reese was the kindest, gentlest soul that I have ever had the fortune to meet. I will miss him terribly, and I am sure that he has left a tremendous void in so many lives, in particular his mum, brother and family. My thoughts and prayers are with Reeses family, loved ones and friends. May the sweet, southern gentleman Rest In Peace.

My thoughts and prayers are surely with Lorenzo's mother, family and friends at this time of bereavement.
In the midst of this grief, I celebrate Lorenzo's life here with us and, the life he has now claimed in eternity. Thanks be to God.
I enjoyed our mutual greetings and 'passing the peace' at St. George's, meeting his mother one Sunday with him and, his singing in the choir.
We were blessed to have Lorenzo with us at St. George's.
May Lorenzo's soul rest in peace with all the saints and, perpetual light shine upon him.
""Blessed are those who rest from their labors.....""

I was saddened to learn of my Dear Cousin Lorenzos Death,
What a beautiful cousin he was, very kind, caring, loving spirit, loved your family and he was always there to offer a helping hand. I will always cherish the conversations and the times we spent together. He was the one that invited me to become a member of the Abyssinian Baptist Church while we lived in NYC, and I will forever be grateful for that. It truly hurts my heart that I cannot be there because of the COVID.
Only a heart as dear as yours
Would give so unselfishly
The many things youve done, all the time that you were there
Help me know deep down inside, how much you really cared
You will live in our hearts forever. Your SMILE and Kindness will always be remembered.
You will truly be missed.
Sending my condolences to Cousin Erlene and Ritchie, you both are in our thoughts and prayers.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Love Miranda and Derek

We were saddened to learn of the death of one of our dearest cousins Lorenzo. He was a wonderful cousin who was caring, supportive of family and had a positive attitude. Lorenzo holds a special place in our hearts and will truly be missed, by loved ones and close friends. We will always remember him accompanying his grand-mother on her visits to our grand-mother home before his moved to New York. Those carefree Sundays of many years ago that we looked forward to will be cherished forever. May the memories of Lorenzo bring us closer during these most difficult days. May God's peace, love, grace, and mercy be with us as we grieve his death. We offer our heartfelt sympathy and love to all our relatives and Lorenzo close friends.

Ward and I were so very sad to hear of our brother in Christ, Lorenzo's, passing. Lorenzo was so very kind and considerate to people. He never failed to offer an encouraging word.

He loved to sing in the choir and we were honored to have him. He will greatly missed.

Rest in peace and rise in glory, our dear friend. We love you!

Lorenzo was my neighbor and a valued friend. He was the gentleman who insisted he must take out and bring in my garbage can but he was more than that. He made me feel he cared about me as well as my health. He will be greatly missed for all of his acts of kindness. Sue Shipman
