I am sorry about the passing of Ms. Marlene. That's what we called her at Chicora. I was truly blessed by all of my interactions with Ms. Marlene. I have missed, and I will continue miss seeing her face here at th school. She worked so well with our children here at Chicora.  I will keep the family in my prayers.

My deepest sympathies go out to all of Ms. Marlene's family.  I had the privilege of seeing her commitment to students and the community.  She gave up so much of her time every week to spend with our students here at Chicora.  She will always be remembered fondly at Chicora for the work she did with our students.  We were blessed to have such a dedicated, faithful volunteer.  She will be missed!  My prayers and thoughts are with your family.  May God bring you peace and comfort!

I went to college with Marlene at Saint Augustine's College. Marlene had a great sense of humor. We took quite a few classes together since we both were education majors. RIP my colleague will continue to keep your family in prayer.
