Dickerson Mortuary announces the passing of Mrs. Melissa Watson-Morgan, who transitioned on Wednesday, March 05, 2025.  

The family of Mrs. Melissa Watson-Morgan invite you to attend her celebration of life service on Friday, March 14th 12:00Noon at Emmanuel Baptist Church 1440 Folly Road Charleston, SC.  Interment: St. James Presbyterian Church, USA Cemetery

Mrs. Watson-Morgan was preceded in death by her daughters; Marlisa Nakisha and Sokoya Watson; three siblings, Robert Lee Pendigrast (Zennie), James Pendigrast and Brenda Lee Robinson (Clifford); and her brother-in-law, John Washington.  She is survived by her husband, Mr. Earl Morgan; her son, Mr. Evander Watson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mrs. Celestine Washington, Mrs. Elouise Washington (Herbert), Mrs. Ann McKelvey (Johnathan), Mrs. Alfreda Green (John) and Mrs. Sonya Robinson (Nathan); three sister-in-law; stepchildren; one uncle, Benny Ladson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Watson-Morgan will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC.  Also on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Emmanuel Baptist Church from 11:00AM until the time of service.
