Entered into eternal rest on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015; Ms. Rena Washington.  Residence: Dumfries, VA formerly of Wadmalaw Island, SC.

Ms. Washington is the mother of Ms. Viola Rivers, Mr. John Washington, III, Ms. Regina W. Heyward, Mr. Rodney Washington, and Ms. Carol Snipe.

Ms. Washington was 74 years old.  The family will be receiving friends at the home of her children; 3063 Nantuckett Ave. N. Charleston, SC and 2204 Vanburen Ave. N. Charleston, SC.  Also the family will be receiving friends at the home of her sibling; 6450 Granite Rd. Wadmalaw Island, SC.

The relatives and friends of Ms. Rena Washington invite you to join with them as they celebrate the life of their loved on Saturday, September 5, 2015 11:00 AM at New Bethlehem Baptist Church 1945 Liberia Rd., SC.  Interment: Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Washington is survived her children, Ms. Viola Rivers, Mr. John Washington, III, Ms. Regina W. Heyward, Mr. Rodney Washington, and Ms. Carol Snipe; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Ms. Washington will be on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10:00AM until the time of service at New Bethlehem Baptist Church.  There will not be a family hour.
