Guestbook

My mother and I picked Pastor Jones up from the airport. While driving, I asked Pastor Jones if he could preach? He responded ""I can do a little sumpen sumpen."" It was the first time Pastor Jones made me laugh. Pastor Jones was a special man. One who once you were around him, you knew he was a man of God. From the time he arrived here in Paterson, New Jersey, he hit the ground running. He had so many plans to help save souls. Souls that would never have the opportunity to know our God. He would tell me Renee, ""you"" may be the only Bible someone will ever read. You have an example to set. Pastor Jones would pray, and pray, and pray, and pray. He consulted God about everything. I learned so much in such a short amount of time that I almost feel like I'm missing something. The daily lessons have been silence...my friend now sleeps.....Sleep in sweet peace good Shepherd, well deserved. I will never forget you.

Condolences and prayers to the family of Rev. William Jones. He was a faithful colleague and dear friend who strove to ""do right by God!"" This is a tender time. My prayer is that the void that has been created by his passing will, in God's time, be filled with the precious memories of a committed and blessed life.

May the many cherished and loving memories of Mr. Jones continue to comfort his family and friends. A comforting promise is stated at Isaiah 25:8 ""He (God) will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."" Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If I could have you back just for a little while. Then we could sit and talk again, just like we used to do. You always meant so very much and always will too. The fact that you are no longer here will always cause me pain, but youre forever in my heart until we meet again. Rest In Peace my dear William. I will always love you.
