Dickerson Mortuary announces the passing of Thomas Johnson, 65, who transitioned on Monday, October 23, 2023.  The family of Mr. Thomas Johnson invites you to attend his celebration of life services on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 11:00AM at Dickerson Mortuary, LLC (Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel.) 4700 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC., 29405.  Interment: New Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; Elijah Johnson, Sr., and Wilhemenia Johnson, his siblings; Frances Jackson, Elijah Johnson, Jr., Kenneth Johnson and Carl Johnson. Mr. Johnson is survived by his children; Diamond James Gillespie, Precious Gillespie and Lura Ann Gillespie, his siblings; Idell (Alonzo) of Columbia, SC., Irene (Ronald) Walters of North Carolina, Thomasina (John) Mckenzie of Columbia, SC., Ethel Kenneth) Smith of Goose Creek, SC., Rosemary (John) Jones of Lincolnville, SC., Katherine (Lawrence) Middleton, a host of other relatives and friends.
