Kearse; the grandmother of Connor and Creighton Shingler and Coren Robinson; the sister of Ms. Linda B. Murphy, Mrs. Patricia V. Ford (John), Mr. Carroll L. Kearse (Rev. Sandra), Ms. Claretha K. Wade and the late Mr. Eric W. Kearse.

Mrs. Sumter was 63 years old.
